What I Analyse
Google Business Profile. I compare your GBP against your top-ranking competitors — categories, review count, review quality, photos, posts, completeness score. This reveals exactly where you are ahead and where you are behind.
Website structure. How many pages do they have? What topics do they cover? Do they have location pages? Service pages? FAQ content? The businesses that rank highest almost always have more structured, more comprehensive websites.
Schema implementation. Do your competitors have structured data? In most cases on the Costa del Sol, the answer is no — which means implementing it puts you immediately ahead.
Citation presence. Where are your competitors listed? What directories and citations do they have that you do not?
AI visibility. I check whether your competitors are being recommended by ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. If they are and you are not, that tells me exactly what signals you need to build.
